Biography
Joseph has been serving as a Senior Paralegal at the Law Office of Anne Z. Sedki since 2018. Prior to joining the firm, he gained valuable experience by volunteering for two years in the immigration legal department of a major international organization . During his studies at the City University of New York (CUNY), Joseph earned an Advanced Certificate in Immigration Law, deepening his expertise in U.S. immigration matters such as naturalization, adjustment of status, family petitions, and other key areas of immigration law.
Education
Joseph’s legal education began in Egypt, where he obtained a Master’s degree in International Law. He has also completed postgraduate studies in Political Science, enriching his understanding of legal and political systems.
Professional Associations
Joseph is the first Egyptian attorney accredited by the Courts of New York as a Legal Consultant on Egyptian Law. He also manages JFG’s offices in both the U.S. and Egypt. Previously, he served as an associate attorney at El Gamal Law Firm in Egypt founded by the late Dr. Yehia El-Gamal, former Deputy Prime Minister of Egypt. His unique blend of experience and education allows him to provide insightful comparative analysis between U.S. and Middle Eastern legal systems. Joseph frequently shares his expertise as a speaker at international immigration conferences, including events at Saint Francis College in NY,and several American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) forums. This expertise enables him to offer informed legal advice to our clients with cases involving Egyptian law.
