Ms. Sedki completed her Juris Doctorate at Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. She received her bachelor’s degree from Fordham University in New York, New York, in 2003. Attorney Sedki holds bar memberships in the states of New York, New Jersey and Ohio.

Attorney Sedki specialized in U.S. immigration law. In the course of her practice, attorney Sedki has represented individuals and organizations from all around the world in various immigration matters, including family petitions, employment-based visa and green cards, investment visas and humanitarian-based services such as Asylum, Violence Against Women’s Act (VAWA) and U visa petitions. She represents individuals before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) nationwide, as well as in U.S. Embassies and Consulates internationally. Attorney Sedki also serves as counsel for individuals facing detention and removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals.

Attorney Arif Gozel is an of counsel attorney at The Law Office of Anne Z. Sedki, LLC. Attorney Gozel completed his J.D. equivalent law degree at Ankara University Law School in Turkey, and also his master’s (LL.M.) at American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining Sedki Law, he worked for two leading immigration law firms in Washington, D.C. Having attorney licenses in New York, Maryland and Turkey, he advises diverse clientele regarding U.S. immigration laws. Attorney Gozel also advises interested parties about Turkish law. Attorney Gozel is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Union of the Turkish Bar Associations.

Amani Haddad, Esq., is an associate attorney and a dedicated and experienced immigration attorney with extensive knowledge of immigration law. She holds a Bachelor of Law and a Master’s in Law from the University of Jordan, as well as a Masters in Law (LL.M.) in International Law and Justice from Fordham University in New York. Admitted to the New York State Bar and a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Fluent in English and Arabic, she excels in communicating with clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring they understand their legal options and feel supported throughout the process.

Joseph F. Guirguis

Head Paralegal – New Jersey Office

Joseph F. Guirguis is the head paralegal in our Jersey City, New Jersey office. Joseph received his Bachelor of Law, and master’s degree in law from Egypt and works as a lawyer with the El Gamal Law firm in Cairo, Egypt. Joseph is fluent in Arabic and assists our clients from the Middle East with legal issues relating to U.S. immigration law as well as Egyptian law. Joseph is the first Egyptian attorney to be licensed and accredited by the Courts of New York as a legal consultant on Egyptian laws, and he is licensed to practice law as an Egyptian lawyer through his U.S.-based office.
